Stunt
workshop

Action starts with body control, timing and believable performance. Explore stunts and stage and screen combat – from falling techniques to a scene created together.

For actors, schools, clubs and groups: movement, reactions and acting come together in choreography tailored to the occasion, from individual sequences to complete scenes for stage and camera.

My stunt workshop offers an in-depth introduction to stunts, stage combat and acting. Depending on the engagement, we develop small or large choreographies for plays, dance performances and film scenes, or even entire stage productions. We can also create material for a showreel.

Schools and classes can book the workshop for sports days or class reunions, for example. I can come to you, or you can visit me. A stunt workshop promotes health, fitness, athletic ability, coordination and other physical skills.

Children’s

My aim is to bring children’s dreams to life and help them understand that, as individuals, they are part of society’s cultural life. This work in cultural education creates opportunities for artistic expression beyond a society shaped by media and digital technology.

Through humorous exercises and group games, children, teenagers and adults discover and appreciate themselves and their abilities in new ways. Children can explore the world of circus and theatre; individual and group exercises, expression games and movement games develop creativity and coordination.

The workshop is also a lovely opportunity for children and parents to share experiences. Circus skills play a part not only in the circus but also in gymnastics, dance styles such as rock ’n’ roll and breakdance, and modern movement disciplines such as parkour and skateboarding. They are an excellent way to promote health, fitness and athletic ability.

Who is this workshop for?

The workshop is mainly aimed at children, teenagers and their parents; actors can also benefit from a sound knowledge of circus arts. Enthusiastic beginners and more advanced participants are welcome. Circus artistry means performing physical skills for an audience, often using objects, as in juggling.

What will you learn?

  • Devil stick and diabolo games
  • Juggling with balls, hoops and clubs
  • Children’s gymnastics and partner acrobatics
  • Plate spinning
  • Endurance, reactions, stretching and coordination
